What kind of 12v pumps, valving and cylinders are you all using on your full hydro steering? I got some ideas but just checking on what youall use. thanks

Pump off a snow plow, orbital off a combine or fork lift, 1" x 8" ram from rule king...

In the first picture you can see the Monark Dana Jack (Model #M-319-0112) located in the battery box. The white box on top is part of the water injection nothing to do with the steering.

Hey Scott- Any better pics of how you are tying in the ram to the axle and tie-rod?

Nothern Equipment i think it is has all kinds of Pump and resevior assemblies and rams. Not sure about orbital valves though.

One thing I have been wondering is instead of using a ram and orbital vavle, if you could just get a single intel and single outlet pump and tie it in to the stock steering box with the return from the steering box going back to the resevior. It would basically be the same as using the stock power steering pump, but just replacing it with an electric unit. Reason I ask is not for a diesel truck, but for my dads 2wd gasser. We remove all of the power steering and accessory drives from the engine, but it can be a pain trying to steer in the pits and getting to the track. Just trying to figure something out to make it easier on us with out taking power away from the engine.

that should work with stock steering rack, because you have 4 ports for full steering and the bybass

Yes that works very well!
