I have a 2001 Dodge 2500. I installed a set of heated and power fold out mirrors the other day. I installed the passanger side first and checked to see if the power worked, everything worked fine. I then installed the driver side, it worked for a split second and then they both stopped working. It also caused my radio and dome light to stop working. The radio is getting an ignition hot but it is not getting a battery constant. All fuses are good. Has anyone had an issue like this? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. But a wiring diagram is really all I need.

Thanks

most likey you cut the wires that comes from the mirror.

i didnt but i unplugged them to see if there was maybe a short and i still have the same situation. There is a common link somewhere between the fuse box and the dome light, mirrors, and radio. all three are all of the sudden not getting a constant hot, but the fuse is

Did you check continuity on the fuse itself? I have seen fuses be blown/bad and show no visible sign of such. Make sure you are getting power through the fuse. If you do not have a meter, just swap that fuse into another location that is working just fine and see if the problem follows.

Did you look at the fuses or use a test light or a meter?Sounds like a fuse

I got the factory service manual for that on PDF. It's 68 megs. I had it on mediafire once but lost the address. I'll work on finding it back, unless there is a better method.
