ideas for a 54 dodge?

I own a 54' dodge, it's been in the family for a while and I figured I would step up and do something with it.

I don't know a lot about it, but it's the "work truck" edition, so I think it has a slightly longer bed.


I have an idea of sitting the body over on a 12v 4x4 running gear, sitting on 17x10s with 33x12.5's.

ORRRR

some how, try to just swap a cummins drivetrain into the trucks current frame. This would be a 2 wheel drive build, and the truck would be basically for doing burn outs / riding around town lol.

I figured I would start by looking for 1st or 2nd gen dodge truck that had been rolled over/ totaled..


Any input? Thoughts?
