Idle up?

Is there anything I could do to idle up my truck when its just setting there? Maybe with the cruse buttons? Almost like a semi. I know the bully dogs on 3rd gens can do it but not sure about the 2nd gen?

If you want the idle up feature you will have to take it to the dealership to reflash / program it onto your truck. the 02's did not come stock with it. Here is more info:

Also if any of your buddies have a smarty, it will do it unlock it.

You can idle up a 2nd gen other than manually aka a stick.

Flash with smarty (unload/reload) to get it do it automatically when its cold out.

I guess I ment like a 3rd gen with cruise controls. I know smarty does it automatically. My pick up idled up this morning.

Nobody has done it with the cruise control AFAIK on a second gen. The setup bnold has allows you to do it with a knob.
