what would you look for? IE: adjustability, material, finish,PRICE,how stout it may be, quality????

just out of curiosity what do you really look for?? I mean there are some pretty nice ones out there, but who honestly wants to pay 400 bones or even 250 bones for one... I would just like to hear some opinions here on what some of you people would want in a pulling hitch..:thankyou2:

amazing concepts in MI they make a nice pulling hitch for a decent price

Luckily I can make my own... so I look for material price. And I'm real good at finding free metal :D

I know looks aren't important but........ I'd be embarrassed to put that on the back of my truck.

i didnt make to look pretty... just extreamly functional. :poke:

i also can adjust the hitch in 2" 1" and 1/2" adjustment in the hitch as well.

beside pretty usually adds $$$$$$$$$$$ to anything.

it semi gloss black.
and i have seen hitch that look better and are weaker.

I ain't no puller other than the occasional cedar tree, but I saw the hide-a-wayz competition pulling hitch in a magazine a while back. I think it is pretty sharp. I have no idea how much it costs, but looks cool. This in the only pic I can find of it right now. Looks better when it is just the loop. I'm not a fan of the balls in it.

I have built alot of pulling hitches you can build your own WAY chaper then 325! I usually have around 120 in one.

Adjustablilty, cleanliness, and strength.

I have used a hitch like this with a modified pintle hitch that works well with the current hooks on the sleds.

The hitch I had on the red truck was similar in concept, except due to some creativity I could adjust it using quick pins every 1/4".

Doesn't look like that one has the 3"x3.75" of Clear opening most places require.

Yes, 3"x3.75" opening. Hook fits great. I have actually been the guy hooking and un-hooking the sled and there are no issues. I think the picture is deceiving.
