Help I think my dragon flow vp44 gave up the ghost?
The truck was running great when I shut it down and then the next day it was hard to start and suddenly it started a knocking sound and had some white unburnt fuel coming out of the exhaust.I quickly shut it down and it would not restart. I have fuel to the pump but upon cranking the truck with the injector lines cracked there was no fuel coming out of the lines.
On injector line 3 or 4 it almost seemed like compression was blowing out of the (loosened) cracked injector line? what the heck?
My question is should there be some fuel shooting out the cracked lines like it does when I have to prime my p-pump motor?
I am new to the vp44 world so any help in finding out if its bad would be great.
Next if it is bad is it worth anything for rebuilding back to a dragon flow?
I have decided if a vp44 goes back on it will just be a SO.
Thanks
Mike
