the pump is a fresh rebuild? if so why was it rebuilt?

Yes and I have no idea why it went bad I've got plenty of fuel going to it and threw it the truck just started runnning a little funky so I sent it in to get checked.... They replaced the piston the brain the delivery valves and all seals I bought the pump for 2000 and just put 1275 back in it so I'm just trying to get out of vp44 switching to p- pump
