I would like to add a primary fuel filter/water separator between the tank and the lift pump but I'm having trouble find a part number. I would like a filter that has a 30 to 50 micron rating and fits on a 1-14 spin on filter head. Does anyone have a part number for a filter that would work?

I'm not exactally sure on the thread size but you could add a Racor S3201S to the mix and put the see throught bowl on it. I can write you paragraphs of what poor filtration will do to Injectors.

I've got a brand new Racor setup with the bowl on the bottom for water drainage. I had it on ebay but no one bought it. I can send you pics if you're interested.
btw- I have 4 fuel filters on my truck. 75micron pre-pump filter, 2 - 2micron CAT 1r-0749, then the stocker. I like overkill and clean fuel...
