Is anyone running the twins from industrial, the kit that uses the stock and a s400?? We put a set on a truck with some 150hp injectors and a smarty and the egts get pretty hot. The truck has all the deletes on it. It runs good untill you hit 4th gear and the pyro goes from 900 to 1300 in a matter of seconds. Just wondering if anyone here is running them and how there egts are??

Your complaining about 1300*? Is that pre or post turbo? What kinda boost?

Is it an auto or a stick? What's most likely happening here is that 4th gear actually puts enough of a load on the engine to allow it to heat up.

I am not complaing about 1300*. That is only at half throttle, if you bury the throttle it will bury the pyro. Just seems a little high egts for twins and no more that what mods are on it.

Well that would have been handy to know earlier.

Check for boost leaks and check your drive pressure. What kind of boost are you seeing? Does the smoke clear up?

These engines move a veritable ****-ton more air then there predecessors and i think some people havent realized the need for larger exhaust housings and or wastegates in their setups. Its not hard to choke them out if you forget theres another 45 cubes to handle.

Boost pressures are at 63psi, I dont know drive pressures yet (dont have a gauge on it yet). There are no boost leaks, I pressured the system up and had nothing. Industrial says about 65psi is about what they should run. The smoke does not clear up it still has a haze while at wot.
