Industrial Pump Gear on Truck p-pump

I am in process of doing a p-pump swap and have all the parts to do the swap off of a bus(industrial engine). I am using a pump off a Dodge instead of the 11mm bus pump. Can i use the pump gear off the bus on the dodge pump. I know the industrial pump gear uses a keyway that I have lost and the dodge gear does not. Will this gear work just like the dodge pump gear and use the nut to press the gear on the pump shaft? Just wondering if this will work before I try it.
