I will be soon be working on my 1987 Tatra that has an air cooled V12 twin K36 turbos it's 19 liter 2 valve similar to Deutz with 12 plunger inline pump Bosch style. Stage 1 will be addition of intercoolers & rebuild the KKK turbos.
Questions
1. Any recommendations who to use re turbo rebuilding / blue printing
2. Anyone can tell me based on the fact that stock pump / injector output @ 2200 rpm per cyl' = 105 cc what the estimated power range would be expected, stated power is just 365 bhp I don't think it has more than 12 psi of boost, a non turbo version with same pump / fuel delivery had stated power of 285bhp
I plan of having the pump & injectors re calibrated in CZ but have yet to find an English speaking injection specialist so may have to go through a translator !!
