injector copper seals

i went to cummins this morning to get the copper seal for the injectors and they were 12.00 for a single washer. the 5.9 one are only a dollar. cummins didnt have the 6.7 ones in stock both have different parts numbers.

so are they interchangeable?

Thickness' are gonna be the difference in them. I can't remember for sure what the spray pattern difference is between 6.7 and 5.9 but if the copper is thinner it will push the spray pattern farther into the piston.

You have to pretty much run the stock ones because if you run a different thickness washer the connector tubes won't seal. So if they are different thicknesses, don't run the 5.9 ones.

ok thats what i needed to know. good thing i asked cause for the price difference i was goin to use the 5.9 ones lol
