injector leak rate

had my injectors sent out to don at f1... the results

I guess a factory injector has a leak rate of 10-11 millileters... mine have

14,14,16,14,20,20

question is is this a really bad rate... I would like to put tips onto my injectors but wonder if this is going to cause more problems.. new injectors are 350 bucks a piece plus nozzles?
 
yeah but a high price.. i just didnt know if anyone ever had a leak rate like this a still ran tips on them.. I dodnt know if ti was a huge deal to have a high return leak rate?
 
Leak rates have a tendency to increase fairly rapidly. The leaks end up being like a water jet cutter. The most noticable sympton initially is hard starting. Large cp3's and/or dual pumps will mask the problem, but it will still exist. As the leaks get larger, you can get rough idles, and then a complete miss.

If Don recommended that you fix them, then I would for sure fix them. Being that all of them have high leak rates, I would look at the fuel supply as well, i.e. 2 micron filters, water traps...

Well, I have a fass system but it was only on the truck for 2 days before all of this happend...
