injector question

is it at all possible to take a 9mm injector and disassemble it and put a 7mm injector nozzle on it? I ask because I need a new cyl head and it looks like a 7mm head is in my future and I am not looking to buy new injectors as well.

It probably wouldnt hurt to have the old injectors pop tested anyways, especially if they have alot of miles on them, if the tips can't be swapped then I would just buy a cheap set of Bosch 370's or something and throw them in...

just take a 3/8 ream on a hand drill and open the seats up had a couple done that way no promblems as of yet

The internals of the injectors are different between the 7mm and 9mm tips. Costs about $90 to get the different internals to swap the tips.
