Im plumbing the fuel system in the new toy and wondering if anyone has just done away with the rt line from the injectors? The way I had it in the truck was it tee'd back in with the OFV line and went back to the cell. Sure it can go back that way but... just wondering for a even cleaner appreance and simplicity if in a mostly idle or WOT race enviroment if its really needed? Thoughts?

I'm assuming you are talking about the injector return port on the back of the head?... Do you like fuel in your oil?

12v p-pump
It may not be a good idea, I have just never thought about it or seen it discussed. I just thought if it was or had been done in either a race or pull truck that someone here would have seen or heard about it?

Ryan, you need the return for cooling fuel, more pump and more return makes for a happier pump once you have the volume and pressure.

Jim, I suppose your right, that also makes since to me. Just thinking out side the box and wondering if someone had tried it. Thanks for the reply Jim

P.S. I deleted the holley pusher and stocker system and went with a Aero
A1000 this time around. I had -No- issues with my other setup though.....

I suppose the bigger issue would prob. be that if at each inj. cycle the P@B moved more fuel than the nozzle could get rid of it would stack up if it had no return....... I dont know. If its being done any where i bet youd see it on a pull truck or tractor..

you can just t your injector return back to the tank return.. that's the best way

I went back and re-read the post again, yes I would keep the injector return too and just tee it in the return line, that's how mine is setup.

An A1000 with either a -8 or -10 to the pump should be plenty of fuel but some run even more volume and pressure on a dedicated racer.

Got to see a 12V with an Airdog 150 on it recently and that will be what I go with on the 01' 12V, well thought out setup!
