I've decided to get something, but not sure what yet. There are some reasonable priced onces on ebay but the smallest size camera on the end of the flexible tube is 10mm I think.

I'm thinking the view won't be so good if you can't get it thru the injector hole all the way...

What have you guys used that worked good?

Snap on one worked great for me it fit down the hole and i could see if i had cross hatch still. This one was a couple years old and the new ones they sell off the truck dont fit down the hole I hear

I have a boroscope and a snap on camera. The boroscope is to fuzzy to really get a good picture and won't fit down the hole with its 10mm head. The snap on camera has a 8mm head and a very clear picture. It won't fit down the injector hole (need a 6mm tip for that) but if you shove it right down to the end of the bore you can see the top of the piston just fine. Snap on is coming out with a new camera soon that has a 6mm tip and a memory card for taking a picture of what your looking at but there 800 dollars.

what model of snap on do you use? I'm curious what the angle of view and focal range is so I can compare it to a few others out there...

it says the model is BK5500. I'm sure what the actual angle of view and focal range is. But it works really well other than it eats a set of batteries about every time you use it.

Thats a pretty decent price on one. Once you use it a few times you will find all sorts of uses for it. Its a heck of a tool.

i bought mine off the Cornwell truck... fits in the hole and has a clear pic...$365

I have the Snap on one and it wont fit down in the hole but the tip of it will fit down in and you can see the pistons pretty good.
