Injector wires rubbed thru

A guy I know has an 07 dually. He was driving down the interstate and started blowing black smoke and lost power. Ended up finding the hood insulation has sagged down and rubbed thru some injector wires at the 1-3 injector connector. Any fix-it kits available?

I have a junk harness he could cut the end off and resplice.
Someone good with a soldering iron and shrink wrap could make it a nice repair.

Cummins makes a kit with the pigtail to replace 12" of that harness. Email rick@firepunk.com for the part number or to order it.
