Injectors Flux 4 or 5?

Im sending in the injectors to F1 to have em checked/fixed, since we've got 2 blown motors.. the last one only lasted 1000 miles.

So while the Currently Flux 4's are at F1, should i have them upgraded to Flux 5? or will the turbos be too small? if we get the engine to hold, might consider using nitrous in the future, to get close to 1000 HP.

Truck ran 11.5 seconds at its best, dual cp3s and mp8 hold excelent RP
and MPI twins 62/71 over S400 make max 55 psi after the Helix 2 cam install.

Truck smokes at full boost, more with mp8 turned up, but its not bad.
 
Id say they be to big, but Id think the 4's would get real hot to. While your in there Id upgrade to a s480.

got a good deal on a brand new 08 bottom end, installed it, and after 1000 miles it happened again, still not sure what happened, but the engine doesnt even start, im gonna pull the head of today or tomorrow.
at the end of the 1/8 mile a big cloud of white smoke came out of the exhaust, truck died...

how much $ is it to upgrade to an S480?

Something seems like fishy to trash a motor in 1000 miles?? Did you send the injectors back to Don when the first motor went south?
 
My opinion is that you don't have enough air for the Flux 4's, much less the Flux 5's, but I would talk to Nathan at MPI for his opinion. He would know better what his twins flow.

Last year I was running Flux 4.7's with a 66/71/16ss over a S480. No smoke, 82psi of boost, 7150lbs, and 11.08 E.T's.

What are your EGT's at the end of a 1/4 mile?

Well i pulled the head yesterday and found 2 melted pistons again...

Ya im sending mine back to get them tested, i melted #2. 4.5 would work real well with the twins. I run 4.0's with my big single and dont have any issues/
 
your damage looks very similiar to mine when i blew a hole through the piston. too much timing!!!!

stock smarty timing + auto tst timing + water meth = bad news!!!
