mines leakin oil like a mofo, do i have to take the ecm off to tighten it up?
 
Tappet cover?

Prob needs a new gasket, not tightening.

This is not a competition or performance question rookie.
 
thats ok, im an a$$ too. so is it possible to replace the gasket without removing the VP? ive never done it. and if i take the ecm off do i need to disconnect the batteries first? or is it only if you unplug the ecm?
 
Not sure if you'd have to pull the VP, I've heard of guys doing it without pulling the P-pump, which is bigger. They also generally say it's easier to just pull the pump.

No need to disconnect the batteries if you aren't unplugging the ECM.

Since the cover is coming off I'd look at putting a 12v cover, or adding another breather to yours.
 
cool, i put an extra breather in the valve cover and re-located the breather bottle with a bigger hose.

Lots of people have had avatar changes, but it's kinda just that way with mine. Usually Phil or Billy keep my hooked up.
