Installed height Issues...

So here is my issue..


If i use a standard lock with no shims my installed height will be 2.110.
The most my installed height should be with these springs is 1.900.which means im need to lose .210.
So if i use a -50 lock it will bring me down to .160


Thats a BIG shim:bang Any ideas??

I believe that is the same small block valve(haisley) that I run on my 4bt. It is a 1.940 intake. It is quite a bit longer than the factory valve. Whoever installed them also might have set the valve too deep into the head. Use the -.050" lock and use a .060-.080 shim and you will be fine!

If i use a .060-.080 shim that will bring me to around 1.980 and my seat pressure to 158-160 correct??

What seat pressure is stock???
