Installing O-rings in head????? Help!

OK, I got my head o-ringed by Fletcher and unfortunately they rings got damaged during shipping. I pulled them out and have been trying to put new ones in, but am having some difficulties. I am unable to get ahold of Fletcher and have my truck half torn apaort just waiting on the head.

If any one knows how to install the wire for O-rings, please help.

I think they need to be pressed in.

Assuming you have the same diameter wire that the head was cut for, the hard part is trimming them to size with an angle at zero gap... you can install with a plastic mallet if you're careful - be sure to mike them accurately for equal protrusion. Keep the grooves clean!
