What is everyone using for an intake on the race covers?

We made ours with Exhaust pipe and had the local muffler shop flair the end for us.

5.5, I currently have a 5" I use, and I need something very rigid as I hang my air shut off on it.

hmm this is what im using on my truck 5.5-6inch elbow...dunno if that would work or be able to have a shut off hung on it but the elbow is surprisingly sturdy and only runs about 30bucks...

go to a plumbing supply house and get a fernco.i think it will be clay to plastic or clay to copper

I have ran the fernco's before they don't hold up to the heat well at all.

get u a sewer pipe connector from home depot or lowes
(ferco)

LOL, if you read up above someone already suggested a fernco. The issue is the ferncos perform very poorly in heat areas, plus I hang a little weight with the air shut off and such.

I have ran the fernco before and the rubber is too soft. Are you hanging any weight on it? Or is your air cleaner supported by something else?
