Intake manafold

Hey all,

Im new to the site I own an 04 6 leaker with some small tricks under the hood.. But have run into a problem.. Last week my egr started to give out on me and i am not gonna keep going threw this problem over and over again.. Im getting ready to order the kit from FCDP.. I have started tearing the truck down and have everything but my intake manafold off.. i have all the bolts off but it still wont budge.. My question is are there screws other then the ones on the top and in the front or am i just not using my muscles enough? I dont want to break it and not be able to send the core back.. Any help will be appricated

It should come right off but its attached to the EGR cooler that is in the bottom of it. You sure you got them ALL out?

Did you unbolt the heater hose by the alternator mount?

Outside of that, you have the EGR cooler is bolted down and attached to the y-pipe. If that is still connected, you won't be able to move it.

Don’t really know what else would be in the way.
