Intake question

i had the AFE Stage 2 PG7 a while back but traded it to my lawyer for some help on my record.

now i am wanting one again but noticed there is a new kind called "mega cannon".

what is the difference? is it still a 7 layer or is it just a 5?

buddy owes me money but he said instead of paying he will buy me an intake (he claims he can get them cheaper).
 
I would think so...a buddy of mine has an 06 with the mega cannon and that thing is huge...bigger means more air.
 
i think i'll tell him get me that one.

anyone else have any input?
 
this setup is quite a bit bigger then when i had my standard stage 2 PG7.
i will see how it sounds tomorrow.
 
sounds freaking amazing!!! whistles ALL the time. cruise on flat grond of hills, it is whistling.
 
if whistle is what you waant get a turbo....my 66 is about to drive me crazy!
 
i was goin to buy a 66 with ats manifold but they told me i need alot more fuel to fuel it so i decided not to.
