Ok, well I was having trouble building boost off the line, but got that somewhat worked out. It was running good, then ker-pow!!!!, split the friggin intercooler.

My original intercooler had pin holes from corrosion, so I had replaced it with a fairly cheap aftermarket unit. But that was back when I was running a single. I did some pricing, a new OEM unit is $450, or the good aftermarket ones are $1200 or so. I'd go OEM, but need something that will hold 90-100psi.

What's everyones experience with the stock ones and high boost? Is there a chance I can get by with OEM, or should I bite the bullet and go aftermarket?

Lots of guys running 90+ psi out of compounds on oem IC's.

I found a good price on a BD on a Memorial Day sale, I guess I'm leaning that way. It says they're tested to 400psi. I like the look of the extruded tubes too.

Theres a 500 dollar aftermarket one made by a place on ebay. Looks pretty trick too. Its called on 3 performance. They pressure test them high too

They're $630 including shipping. I emailed them last week to see if it would hold 100psi and about the warranty, but havn't heard back. I found the BD for just over a $1000, but it goes off sale tonight. If I hear back before then I may buy that one, otherwise I'll go BD.

I just listed a bunch of stuff on ebay to help pay for it :hehe:
