Ok, well I was having trouble building boost off the line, but got that somewhat worked out. It was running good, then ker-pow!!!!, split the friggin intercooler.
My original intercooler had pin holes from corrosion, so I had replaced it with a fairly cheap aftermarket unit. But that was back when I was running a single. I did some pricing, a new OEM unit is $450, or the good aftermarket ones are $1200 or so. I'd go OEM, but need something that will hold 90-100psi.
What's everyones experience with the stock ones and high boost? Is there a chance I can get by with OEM, or should I bite the bullet and go aftermarket?
