interior lights

how can i get my dome/interior lights not to come on when i open the doors? other than adjusting the dash lights all the way down?

guess im just going to have to deal with them coming on/staying for for a minute after i shut the door. was worth a shot atleast. sneaking back thru a field with lights off then stopping truck and dang dome lights come on sort of makes it pointless to sneak :bang

yea im headed out to the shop now to unplug the door switch, and i know its hard to be sneaky in a diesel truck, but at night with people in their houses with their doors/windows closed they wont hear my truck, but they will see lights if they are looking outside....only thing they could hear is my dog if it trails or trees close to their house.
