I'm getting ready to pull my injection pump out of the 94 cause the basket on the back of the pump houseing is leaking a bit of oil and no its not the afc or oil lines. (just incase you ask). I just wanna know of replaceing the basket and the throttle shaft and gov ARM orings is pretty much smooth or if I need a special tool or if I take it loose the thing fall apart lol. Anyone done it cause I ain't paying 500 in labor to do something I could do. Thanksin advanced guys

It's easy if you've done one before or watched someone. Most important, make SUPER sure it gets put back together EXACTLY the way it came apart. One screw up and the list of things that can happen will not fit on this forum!
1) There is a cross pin (chit pivots on it) that needs removed.
2) There is a small pin that gets removed through the afc hole...holds an arm to the rack.
3) Remove the rear cover bolts and slide it all apart.

Where's the cross pin man? I've rebuilt VE pumps but never one of these I got truck parked already fixed tappet cover gasket and just deciding to fix them all while I'm driving my gmc safari aka swaggin wagon
