Is a fluidamper or ati balancer needed if the rotataing assembly is balanced? Yes, NO, Maybe? Question is on a 12 valve capable of 5500rpm.

I asked the same thing some time back and was told no for dragracing under 4k rpm. Your case is alil different. I would say its a good idea if its in the budget.

If you are spending the money to build a 12v capable of 5500 rpm. why even consider NOT running 1. $400 seems like a drop in the bucket at that point.

i felt that way and i only built mine for 4500.
