is a rail pressure guage better or a rail pressure box?

im trying to figure out which is best. i no a rail pressure box kinda makes my timein off a lil but cant a smarty fix that? or jus not worry bout it an get a guage?

Really you should get both, they are two different things. The the rail pressure gauge is just that a gauge, it will not change your rail pressure. The pressure box will increase the rail pressure, and doesnt change timing very much if any.
