is it worth it ?

have a local salvage yard that has a 96-97 cummins motor for sale, the head is off but everything is there (including the p pump), no exhaust manifold,turbo. said i could have it for $650.00. is it worth that ????

I would think so... what are the numbers on the ppump? What condition is the crank?
