is this normal for timing?

I'm pretty sure it is good, but I changed my Cam out a little while ago and after I set the marks on the gears, I noticed that with the line on the vp gear at TDC, the marks on the crank/cam and cam/pump did not make a straight line. If you rotate it all the marks eventually line up, but then the pump gear line is not on TDC anymore. Here are some pictures I took while the markings were lined up, but the line is not on TDC.

Oh yeah, all the gears used were original, I pressed on the original cam gear to the new cam.

Timing is ok. the cover is not that accurate as when you put the cover on the gear case it can move a little in the bolt holes and throw that mark off. As long as the dots are lined up on the gears you are good to go. Seen this alot when resealing the cover
