J jets on a vp block???

is it possible to run the j jets on my 01 vp block? are the oil galleys there if i was to have machine shop drill and tap to run the j style squirters or do i need to search for a 03 up block? thanks

I think you'll have to go to a CR block. Gallery cooling started with HO engines in 2003. And not all CR blocks came with them until 04.5.
