Got a 99 truck i parted out and it had a Jacobs E brake on it... I took every thing off i could see was connected to it!!

Will this work on a 12v? I've done some searching and can't find who sells them... I've been on jacobs site and couldn't find any thing about them

Any info would be GREAT i'd love to have it on my truck

Its an Exhaust break for sure.... It says Jacobs E brake mounts right behind the turbo

its made by jacobs for cummins or dodge i cant remember exactly what one.
The turbo outlets are going to be diffrent.
:umno: a hx35 is a hx35. they were made to go on a hx35. they changed the exhaust pipe elbow style from the v band to the 1 piece cast elbow and that's about it the bolt pattern stayed the same.

i use to have one on my 99 part of what activates it comes from the ecm. all it did was open the brake when you pressed on the throttle. im sure it could be wired in with a switch to the linkage somehow
i will see if i can find it but i have the manual for it on my computer somewhere

I wonder why nobody has made a TRUE engine brake for a 5.9.....
