John Deere 4 cyl in a landcruiser

Hey I am getting a 4 cylinder john deere turbo diesel. I want to put it in a 1971 landcruiser FJ40. Do you know any hints or anything cause I have not been able to find anything. Perkins would be easier but I want a JD powered 40. what tranny and tcase could i get to fit that?

Any specs on the engine? What it came from maybe? You may have to get your adapters custom made somewhere...

You might try calling advance adapters.. They can prob help you out
