So why do you see guys running JD injectors on a cummins?

Is it to do away with the 90 degree turn the fuel makes on a 24V injector? Restriction in the injector body? Bigger nozzles?

Or is it just due to cheaper injectors available?

This is very interesting

You pullers are a different breed! Never even heard of this b-4. So are these common rail injectors by Bosch and they are a match for the CTD? Or are you just saying these are tips that fit the CTD common rail injector but have larger holes? Equivalent to F1 or EH 150hps or what? Same number of holes and spray angles?

I know,.. a lot of questions,.. but pertinent. Pls advise.

I've seen them on a few ppumped 24 valve competition trucks. You have to do some machine work on the head to use them. Then the fuel lines stick out the top of the valve cover. No more connector tubes.

Definitely not cheaper by the time you factor in dual or triple feed, nozzles, and internal work.

Search for a thread started by Roachie - there's a good bit of info in there.
