Hey, I just bought a pump. It's a 911 pump and I was told it had a quick rate came and Sh!t cut plungers. I was wondering if anyone had ever heard of cut plungers? I know about the cam and the plungers under the delivery valves Deffinatly look different. If I can get a picture on my iPhone tommarow I will upload it. Anyone ever heard of this or. Can give me some insight?

well i appreciate the help. if that counts for help? why dont you give me some input instead of emoticons?

Never heard of them being referred to as "schit cut"
A 911 is, or originally was, a 215 pump. The plungers are cut with a notch that affects timing at higher rack travel.
It sounds like someone sold you a stock pump.

I have a 911+1 with the quicker rate cam and schittier plungers if you need it.

On a serious note, post up the pics so we can help you help yourself.

how do you know if its a 911+1?? and mine has notchs cut in the plungers like 215 pumps from what i have found on the internet. i can send pictures through text or email from my Iphone but i have no idea how to upload them lol ive got $800 in it. its a 911 acording to the last three digits. it has new plugs in the bottom and side.. the ones that look like freeze plugs.. the top looks like all the barrels are turned. he said it had a cam in the pump and it would lope because of the cam. ( I understand a pump cam will do that or having one barrel turned farther than the other.) everything on the inside was super clean and there was no oil in it so i think it was rebuilt. i got it from a parts guy/shop. he said his pump guy built it for someone and they backed out so he had it on the shelf and i asked for a modified pump so he got it for me.

If you paid 800 for a pump and no nothing about it you need to try to take it somewhere. Sounds like you spent too much honestly for what it sounds a basically stock 215 pump with free mods.

Photobucket app works great for linking photos.

Plungers with the notch cut in the top are sh!t compared to some flat top plungers, therefore you bought a piece of sh!t pump and were too stupid to realize it! LOL I'm dying of laughter!

There is nothing like a 911+1 other than what bullrack just made up! LOL

So you are saying that you have a 180 pump with plungers from a 215 pump. I wouldn't give that a second thought. Especially if I was only into it for 800 dollars.

Yeah.. He said it was custom ground.. Idk. The more I look at it the morei think it does. It looks rebuilt. It's Deffinatly been cleaned inside

If a pump is not clean inside, its junk. I took a stock pump with over 200,000 miles off an engine a few weeks ago. It was clean inside...looked new inside!

Then put it on a flow bench and see what it's really got

This!

Send it to a reputable pump shop and have it checked out and benched. You will know exactly what you have.
Personally, I would go ahead and have a set of flat top p&b units installed while you are at it.
