Well, truck is ready and a waitin' for the Cali pulling season to get on a roll. Feels like forever still with the first event not getting here till late April but that's Cali pullin' for ya I guess,:bang far from what the midwest puts on.:rockwoot:
Anyway, finally got around to snapping some pics of the re-born dedicated puller, sure looks different with all the sponsorship but I like it, brings out the solid puller look in it. Even my 3 year old is ready for the season!:hehe:
Looking forward to seeing my fellow Cali pullers this season......:rockwoot::Cheer:

Joe

Thanks Mike,

It does run very well just needs a sled behind it cuz it is not street friendly at all. I have no idea on power but lets just say there is enough.:rockwoot:LOL

Planning on it, but still have yet to see the Lewis boys post up a new '09 schedule. Hopefully they will get on it soon....

them ladder bars seem kinda short but I can't really tell in the picture?

Looks good Joe, can't wait to see it run. Last I talke to Michael Lewis he was still waitin on insurance, I guess he was havin trouble gettin it this year. I can't wait for the first pull either, but my broken truck and wallet sure can.

They are definately shorter than what most guys have customized but when I did mine I was thinking in terms of ground clearance and flexability since the truck was a trail rig. But now that it's a puller I may re-locate them but they are working great for now and have been for over 5 years......here's a pic not long after I built them back then.

The turbo is still a 2.8 S400 due to finacial reasons but I re-built the truck for the 3.0 class or basically NADM Super Street.

Thanks Cole,

Broken truck and wallet?? I can understand the wallet since that is pretty much everyone's hurt these days but what's up with the truck? You gonna be at Newman when L&L gets rolling??

Joe

Yeah might be a good thing to lengthen them up a bit. To much force upward will cause you to bend the frame.

What group do you guys pull with here in cali? I am diein to get to one. I haven't been to a pull since I left Iowa.

Usually pull with the Valley Tractor Pullers Association, or MLM.
Ya Joe I'll be ready for Newman by Spring, just have a broken output shaft, easy fix.

lookin good! will you be at the norcal diesel rally in redding this year??
