Im looking for a good home for my boy "axel" hes a Blue Pit Bull terrier. he's about a year and a couple months old. His father is a full game/hog dog which has many successful hunts under his belt. This pup does not demonstrate the "gameness" which I was hoping for to carry on his fathers attributes. hes a great pup and gets along with other animals fairly well. Hes affectionate with people. He is part watchdog and other various ELI bloodlines mixed in and the b1tch was a bully dog of origination. He is papered in ADBA, but I would prefer him to be spayed. He has a weak immune system thanks to his moms genetics, and can become infectected with mites. These mites generally do not effect most dogs, but are keen to "blue" colored pit bulls as they have been badly bred over the years... He has yet to really show any hair loss problems as this can generally be kept up with proper diet. Unfortunately he is not going to make a good hog killer like his pops, and Id rather him go to a home where he can play with other animals and such... Like I said, this pup doesnt show any strong game traits and gets along great with our 3 indoor doggies. Im charging 150 bucks, but I will refund the money upon visual proof of a receipt showing he was taken to the vet within 15 days and spayed/checked up.

He weighs about 50-55lbs, he has a ways to fill in still, id say he will get to 70lbs or so. His father is 75lbs, which is big for such a agile game bred pit bull

thanks for the reply! Hes a great family dog.

He will not come with papers... He is adba and has a great bloodline, but I want him to go to a loving home, not a backyard pupply mill... I DO NOT WANT HIM BEING BRED... This is why I am asking for 150 up front, when you show me the reciept from the vets office and his spay, Ill refund you.

I will also give you his crate/kennel too

in all seriousness how come you dont want him bred. im just curious i havent heard that before when someone was getting rid of a dog

I Held this pup in hopes he would carry his fathers game traits. These pups are 1500-2500 dollar dogs, I do not want these genetics getting polluted by backyard breeders and such. He is now regarded as a "family pet" which is why I dont want him being bred. If someone wants to get this dog in hopes of breeding low quality backyard pit bulls, then This pup is the wrong one to look at.

95% of dog breeders have NO BUSINESS breeding dogs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! so many dogs are neglected and end up in shelters, it's sickening.

bump for a responsible dog owner/breeder!!! :rockwoot:

the breeder we got our dog from charged $1000 and held the papers hostage until proof of neuter/spay. If you wanted papers and wanted to breed it was $2000

she only bred a litter every 2yrs or so. we DID NOT want to deal with a puppy mill or anything close to it.

we also didn't want to adopt. I applaud those who do, but my wife and I have both had a lot of headache with pound puppies, so we went snob style and paid white folk money for a dog

if I could go back in time I would pay $5k for him! a real breeder who understands canine genetics and breeds to "build a better dog" vs. breeds to make money is worth seeking out and dealing with IMO

Thanks bros this is a great pup I have here! He will make a great family pet and is true to old style apbt genetics. No grotesque abomination here with horrible disposition and stature

beautiful dog man, I would entertain buying/adopting him if we could get our dogs together and see how they get along. I'm in Alvin. I would definitely get him fixed. We got our dog fixed at ~1yr after his hips formed

what kind of pup do you have? this pup has been introduced to many new dogs. He doesnt have the animal killing instincts like his daddy. When His dad meets a new dog, its usually not pretty. These dogs are completely people friendly though, I do not deal with dogs that show any kind of human aggression. Thats a no no for a good apbt temperment!

Good looking dog, my blue cane corso was named axel before i got him as a pup. He was a breeder, but i got him fixed anyways because i was never going to breed him(never even seen another one). Paid 2250 for him by the time he was off the air plane and id do it again today. This sounds like a good dog coming from someone who knows what hes talking about if anyones interested.

thanks bro, he is a great pup. Hes real good around other puppies too. He really is a sweetheart
