K&N intake

I recently installed a K&N cold air kit on my '06 Ford 6.0. Now I'm getting an EGR excessive flow fault. I keep hearing about reflashing my computer, but I'm new to diesels & have no idea how to do it. Can anyone give me any ideas how t do it? It would be appreciated.:bow:

take er to the dealer and ask for the latest reflash.

Sounds like the MAP is set wrong. Is you intake straight or does it have an elbow? ........Frog could answer this better than I.
