Keyless entry

I've got a 2011 ram with power locks and windows. Truck did not come with keyless entry and I would like to put one in. I would like to go with a factory setup but guys at dodge dealership say it can not be done because there is not a kit offered. Any ideas on wether a factory setup can be installed or do I have to go aftermarket?

The aftermarket option is not bad. It's inexpensive and does'nt look half bad. Somewhere around a hundred bucks IIRC.

It can be done. Guys on cumminsforum and dodgetalk are doing it all the time. You have to buy the fobs and take them to a dealership that knows what they are talking about so they can program them for you. IIRC, the receiver for it is built into all the new trucks.

i got a remote start aftermarket for mine viper with the smart phone app. but mine is a stick and i never leave my truck in gear i always just use the parking brake. but either way for safety reasons you have to do it a certain way for it to work. if not it wont let you remote start.
