I am using 5 x .014 and standard washer/spacers with 19* of timing. should I use a thinner spacer or change my timeing?

Forrest may I ask why? When I put my 5x.014's in Chris told me to run the .060. However im only at 15.5*

Drop to the 0.020" washer, what thickness headgasket?

that was on the stock head gasket, and the thick washers, I think that is what you had recommended for my truck combo, a couple of years ago.
the head i am installing is a new head i ported and polished, stock cummins gasket and o-rings. i was thinking the .020" washers too. someone else told me that my timing may have slipped, from the 19* causing this. does it look like a possibility to you?

Not really, that is pretty well contained, it isn't uncommon to see a leg of the jet come out even down to 17°.

Snedge @ Mumau sold me some 0.020" washers to run with my 5x.014's. Seems to be the recommendation of more than one knowledgeable builder $.02
