Ok who's using a laminated flex plate and what kind of power are you putting down? What kind of power are they suppose to hold?

I have seen them in some peretty stupid rides.... They hold lotsa power.

They hold enough power to break stuff. I just got my third billet input with the same flex plate and no signs of stress on the plate.

I have had one (Suncoast) since the stocker spun into two circles. Its seen many hard 15-25psi boosted launches and 1/4 mile runs with TC locked. Some where around 650hp now.

I am well north of 1000 with a laminate,, no problems here.. I personally think that they are better.

I have one and no problems so far. Only putting 337hp through it, but i do drive it every day and haul with it. Done some 20psi launches with no problems so far.

Only 700+ and lots of boosted launches... no problems at all. Suncoast lam.

900 plus with suncoast laminated and all good so far...

One thing for the fast guys to keep in mind is that there is a new SFI rating for flexplates by nhra and ihra and the laminated are not approved for it.
