I was wondering how big of an injector I can run with the 62 thats on my truck. Could I get away with 200's just for pulling thats all I want to use them for when its on the street it'll be the Jammers.

Mike

I dont know why you couldnt. It will get hot quick probably, but even if it is overfueled it wont hurt anything

Eric

It'll get hot. Quad on level 3 and I hit 1600* at 47psi. I'd stick to 150-180's and just run them constantly instead of having to switch them out back and forth.

My HTT 62 was over fueled with my Scheid lightning II's (150's) and it did get HOTT, I have a junk head to prove it!

The reason I would like to switch injectors is because this truck is my daily driver its gotta do whatever I throw at it. And this spools fast and works good towing, maybe i just need a 64/66 and some larger injectors.

i ran bullydog 240's with mine it was fine driving as long as you were carefull or else it would blasck out a small town. but you def wont tow anything.

i would keep the 62 and put a 475 under it

but the only thing i pull is my race trailer and there are no rules for that

have you thought about building a second truck?

My current injectors are 200hp. My previous injectors were 150hp. The 150's were perfect for a daily driver/tow vehicle. No smoke unless you wanted it and towing shouldn't be an issue at all.

I have ddp 150s with a 62 and it is a very fun a clean combo! I tow almost everyday and rarely see over 1100 and never see over 1300! great street/tow combo!

I ran M5's with a 62/71/14. It was a great combo for DD, but got hot fast once I got over 3500rpm.

i run 250's w/ my super b single (57/65/14) with no box. makes like 34psi, stays nice and cool. under 1200 at all times.

How are you guy getting such low EGT's with turbo's 62mm and smaller and running such big injectors 150's-200's? I was running II 90's with my current turbo silver 62 (62/14/74) and with the smarty (TNT) on 4 no timing edge on 0. I was seeing 1600* 1700* EGT's. I put the stock injectors back in and still see 1450* and thats even with water.

Bob.

the mach 6.5's we put in the gf's truck do get hot on the drag strip but we still tow a 10k horse trailer with it. we have an original ps 62/65/14 and just found out today we have a rather substantial hole in the intercooler. we have a few airflow mods but nothing major until today. I just finished her fully ported head with intake manifold. EGT's dropped 150 cruising. more testing is coming.

My theory is the silver series are such lag pigs they cant catch up to lower the egts.
The injectors dump to much fuel and the turbo is playing catchup.
At least this is my experience.
BTW, I am running a Silver64.
Great turbos for racing, but suck for towing.
