LB7 to LLY?

i currently have a locked up LB7.... so in the process of looking for a motor... if i found a LLy what else would have to be swapped out for it to function correctly?

Heads, injectors, wiring, fuel rails, computer, are all different.

You can use the LLY shortblock and your LB7 heads and that will work. But trying to switch everything to LLY is a lot of trouble. It can be done, but you have to really know what's what. If you really want to go that route, see Rick D Lance at www.dmaxcentral.com , he has done it.

You would be money ahead to put an LB7 back in than to think about putting a cummins in.
