Looking into an excursion in the next few weeks for the wife.
Its going to be 4x4 for odd times of year, safer driving etc.
We will be driving a lot of county roads, high speeds with nice curves, so i want to make it handle, plus lowering on 20's would look great.
Is there any kits out there or experiences to share?
I know there is a front end difference around 05..
school me!

I took the blocks out of mine I the back to lower it close to the stock front height . It's hard to lower the 4x4 and u can only get so much with having the leaf springs all around to get it low enough to look really good you will basically be riding on the bump stops

what i have found is, the back is a piece of cake..
The front is not..
Has anyone tried an axle flip in the front?
With some v or x code springs, and set the axle on top of the springs?
AS of right now there is about 3" of spring and hardware between the axle and frame, if its flipped to where all that crap is on the bottom, a firmer ride and a bit lower can be had..
Thoughts?

I'd think an x code would be better for that. I don't see why it wouldn't work.

Yep, its going to be a long weekend in the driveway with the wife pissed she can't go anywhere!

Can u post some pics I've been wondering the same for my wife's.she said I can't lift it but she didnt say nothing about drops haha.

all i have is stock for now... Got to sell the old family truckster first, then minor nods here and there.. Then lower it, so it will be a while..
First issue is steering.... and hopefully the better springs will help with road wander as well..
