Lets talk Fuel Additives

*bdh* I have been reading lately that a lot of guys are using 2 Stroke oil in their fuel. What are everyone's opinions on running 2 stroke oil in the 6.0?

Not trying to stir up a hornet's nest either...just wanna know.

i use a pint of vegi oil (new) in every tank for lubrication.

Have you seen any increase in mileage? Does your truck idle any quieter?

I have heard good things about 2 stroke oil with the huei injectors. there is a thread on another site (cant remember where) with some real specifics. Toby (heinzboy) was the first to tell me about it so he might know where.

i cant tell much difference with oly a pint in 36 gallons but i know its lubricating the injectors so i sleep better.

I tried it. Running a quart to 1 tank full.
Smelt like a 2 stroke in the morning, with the sound of a diesel. (Could life get ANY better??)
Smoked in line-up's etc, and I was also running Stanadyne fuel additive.
Could not hear any difference at all. Could not tell any difference in milage either. (1 or 2 blasts of the throttle and there goes the advantage)
