Lift needed for tire size?

I have a 2005 F350 Super Duty Diesel Auto and I want to put 36" x 13.50 x 18 tires on my truck. Who and how mu lift is needed? I want to use blocks and keep my springs with the overloads. This will require traction bars. Any photos would be a help! Any thing would be a help.:bow:
 
i have a 6inch lift with 37x13.5x20 tires. it only rubs on the leaf springs but you don't have them so that shouldn't be a problem. also... mine is an f-250
 
I have a friend with an 05. He has 5" Procomp lift and 37's so I would say a lift in the 4" range would be enough.
 
Some 6" lift kits say 35" tires and then some 4 1/2" kits say 36" and then I called a supplier told me 8" for 36" tires. I have 35x12.50x18 on the truck now. There are no standards to follow!
