I've tried searching but I can't find what I need on a 2nd Gen. Does anyone know of a good place to tap a circuit that is hot ONLY while the engine is running? Key on hot won't work, for a redundant harness to run my lift pump.

Thought I had a second dead VP, no hot start, yada etc....wired in a dang switch on the FASS relay and started right up. Damn truck was running around like the old days! Very little smoke, lots of spool and quick as hell again!
I think I swapped out VPs for no reason. It's my ECM that's been acting *****ey and screwing with the voltage to my lift pump relay....:banghead:
Bought another ECM on Ebay and it does the same thing.....

So while looking for a 3rd ECM and collecting parts and funds for my P Pump swap, I wired in a 2nd relay and power wire to the FASS but wanted you guys opinion on a good engine run only circuit to power the new relay. Alternator excite wire with a 30 amp fuse wired in?? What do you guys think?

Thank you in advance.

Brian.
