lift pump dying?

some times when im geting on it real hard then have to come to a quik stop the engine will be runing rough like it has a miss then smooth out. a couple of times it has stalled and wouldnt fire so i cracked the lines at the injectors and had the girlfriend crank it over to see if fuel was geting to that point and it was so i cracked them all and then it fired...does this sound like my lift pump cant keep up or is my injection is pump going out??? it doesnt do this every time.

Same thing happens with mine, putting a new lift pump on just in case, it's cheap insurance whether you go electric or mechanical. There is a low pressure piston pump you can put on as well, with a 2nd gen piston pump you will need an aftermarket regulator so you don't blow out the front pump seal.
