Well I got a new suncoast vb and put it in last night. Everything is fine besides my trans temp seems to be higher. It never got over 150 and now I'm seeing 170 on normal driving at 70 degrees. Is this due to the increase in line pressure or is it something else?

Thanks for your help.

did you flush your cooler when you put the new one in? wheres your temp sensor located?

Yeah I had all the fluid out last week when I changed the converter. It's on the bottoms plug hole on the right side. I called suncoast and they said it was normal. I just thought it was weird that it went up that much just due to pressure.

Higher pressure almost always means higher temps, you are "squeezing" the fluid more which creates heat.

Oh I know that it just was 20 degrees higher and I thought it was kinda wild that pressure changed it that much. Oh well thanks
